Once a quiet, peaceful land, an unknown alien race has laid waste to this beautiful planet. The small defense force standing between them and the rest of the planet has been dispatched in the hope that they can destroy this alien threat once and for all. One lucky pilot has been issued with the latest state of the art space ship known only as the the "AX-77 Axelay". However, this ship is just a prototype and there is only one in existance.
Your job is to head for the alien homeworld, take them on, and destroy them in their own back yard.
