The Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis was a 16-bit video game console released by Sega in Japan (1988), Europe (1990) and most of the rest of the world as the Mega Drive. It debuted under the name "Genesis" in North America (1989), as Sega was unable to secure legal rights to the Mega Drive name in that territory.

Sonic and Tails must stop Dr. Robotnik from rebuilding his Death Egg, which crash landed on the Floating Island. This island floats because of the power of the Chaos Emeralds. You must get them before Robotnik does. However, Knuckles the Echidna, an inhabitant of the Floating Island tries to prevent you from doing so.

Guide Sonic and Tails through 6 zones, each 3 times bigger than those found in Sonic 2. Collect rings, defeat enemies look for bonus stages to get all Chaos Emeralds. You can save your game and choose from levels you've already visited. You can also race against the clock in a time trial mode or 2 player mode.

Travel through the time along with Ecco the dolphin, in the only game that could call itself a "dolphin simulator". Indeed, you can do pretty much everything a typical dolphin does (or at least everying that is featured in flipper the dolphin), including eating fishes, surface in order to breath, using your neat biological sonar and of course jump out of the water to amaze your friends.

The storyline is actually deeper that one may think by looking at the box illustration. As Ecco, you are the only dolphin which managed to escape from the giant whirlpool who sucked down its entire pod. The five shining stars on your front show you are the chosen one to save them. But that task will be not be an easy one, as you will have to travel time and space with the Atlantean time machine, and meet the mystical Asterite in order to defeat the vortex queen.

Urban Strike is the third in EA's long running series of helicopter action games. An evil genius named H. R. Malone has started a cult and managed to gather millions of followers. Malone is using his influence and wealth to build a super weapon with which he will overthrow the government. You will once again suit up and take control of various types of helicopters to stop Malone's evil scheme.

Urban Strike is the first, and only, game in the Strike series to feature non-vehicular combat. In some levels you will leave your helicopter and proceed on foot.

Your friend Nei, a semi-human girl, goes with you, and other brave adventurers join you on what starts with a simple mission but develops into saving the entire world...

This is the first Phantasy Star game for the Genesis, set in a futuristic world. The turn-based combat allows you to choose between "fight", where the characters simply attack physically for one turn, and "strategy", where you can choose from several sub-commands, to defend, to use a special technique, or to run from the battle. Instead magic there are "techniques", that require the usage of TP (technique points).
